Weekly meal planning is the activity of determining most or all of the meals that are expected to be prepared and/or eaten in the week ahead. It helps many households save time, money and even reduce food waste or spoilage. In some cases, even the quality of the food can be improved drastically. To jumpstart this process, the Weekly Meal Planner template is now available.
There are two ways that most tend to view their meal planning, either by the (1) day of the week or (2) type of meal. The solution is designed for both cases, all that is needed is to begin writing the meal plan.
It is possible to write 2-4 items per block depending on the length of its name.
In the lower area, there are three parts that can be filled: Grocery List, Notes and Advanced Meal Prep.
As the meal plan begins to take shape, ensuring that there is enough available food stock is essential. When there isn’t, it important to add it to the grocery list. This segment is lightly bordered every fourth cell to allow users to segmentize their grocery categories if needed.
